Abstract
Pneumocystis pneumonia occurring in the context of immunodepression in duced by HIV is regularly described, although infrequent in Africa. Pn eumocystis outside cases of AIDS is not common in Black Africa. I Ve r eport a case of an association between tuberculosis and pneumocystis p neumonia in a patient whose sole risk factor seemed to be hepatic cirr hosis.
