Abstract
The Cancer Biotherapy Research Group,[CGRG], formerly known as the Nat ional Biotherapy Study Group [NBSG], celebrated its 10th anniversary i n 1997. CBRG Is a not-for-profit cancer clinical trials group of commu nity oncologists whose activities Sor the most part have been funded b y their associated community hospitals. From its inception the Group h as focused on clinical investigations of biological agents iq the trea tment of patients with advanced cancer. This article reviews the histo ry of the Group, its structure, accomplishments, and its current objec tives and challenges.
