POSSIBLE THZ GAIN IN SUPERLATTICES AT A STABLE OPERATION POINT

We demonstrate that semiconductor superlattices may provide gain at TH z frequencies at an operation point which is stable against fluctuatio ns at lower frequency. While an explicit experimental demonstration fo r the sample considered could not be achieved, the underlying principl e of quantum response is quite general and may prove successful for di fferently designed superlattices.
