Abstract
Infrared radiation from hot holes in multi-quantum-well InxGa1-xAs/GaA s heterostructures under lateral transport has been investigated exper imentally. The radiation intensity is shown to be a nonmonotonic funct ion of the electric field dire to the escape of hot holes from InGaAs quantum wells into GaAs barrier lavers.
