Abstract
Conduction of electrons through the quautum wells of a Landau level-qu antised superlattice in the Wannier-Stark regime is investigated. We o bserve features in the current-voltage characteristics which arise fro st quasi-elastic processes in which electrons tunnel (hop) across as m any as four superlattice periods. These transitions occur with a chang e of Landau level index and are observed together with the previously- studied nearest-neighbour well transitions. We investigate the tempera ture dependence of these processes.
