Abstract
Complex fractures of the elbow often include significant injury to the proximal ulna and/or proximal radius. Such injuries are often combine d with injury to the periarticular soft tissues. Appropriate treatment is dependent on accurate diagnosis, definitive treatment of both the skeletal and ligamentous components of injury, and initiation of rehab ilitation programs that stress early motion.
