Abstract
The notion that cerebellar cortex geometry may play a unique role in i ts function is explored by Braitenberg et al. in the form of a new the ory about the distribution of cortical activity. The theory makes spec ific predictions which are not verified by an experimental study of hi ndlimb movement in the cat.
