Abstract
A series of mixed-ligand Ni-II chelates formulated as [Ni(L/L'/L '')B] are formed in 1 : 1 : 1 stoichiometry where dianion is L = o-vanillin semicarbazone (oVSC), L' o-vanillinthiosemicarbazone (oVTSC) and L '' = o-vanillin-4-phenylthiosemicarbazone (oVPTSC); B = 2,2'-bipyridine, 1,10-phenanthroline or pyridine.
