Abstract
A review with 92 references is presented that deals with the reported methods of analysis of the thioxanthene derivatives of pharmaceutical interest. The review includes the methods adopted in dosage forms and biological fluids. A brief discussion of the metabolism and pharmacoki netics of this class of compounds is also reported.
