Abstract
A new genus, Tuberochernes, is defined, the type species being T. aalb ui new species, from a cave in Mono County, California. Another specie s referable to the genus is described also, T. ubicki new species, fro m a cave in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. Unique modifications of the pa lpal chelae and first legs of the males are discussed.
