Abstract
We propose a method for the computation of photoeffect parameters. We combine the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock method to find atom and ion wavefunctions and the use of relativistic one-electron photoionization cross sections. We use this method to calculate the 4d subshells phot oionization cross sections, the 4d photoelectron spectra and the 4d br anching ratios in atomic barium. The results are compared with ether t heoretical calculations and experimental data.
