Abstract
This Note focuses on a renormalized solution notion for some general d egenerate diffusion-transport problems. Any weak solution is proved to be a renormalized one, according to an appropriate variational formul ation, associated to parabolic-hyperbolic adjusting conditions. The me thod takes into account the hyperbolicity and the parabolicity free ar eas and provides new uniqueness results.
