Abstract
We studied sauger (Stizostedion canadense) in the only two reservoirs where they occur in Wyoming to determine genetic purity, describe popu lation features, and determine differences from other populations acro ss North American. Electrophoretic analysis did not identify hybridiza tion with walleye (S. vitrium). The sauger were slow growing, long liv ed, and had low body condition compared to other populations.
