ENDOMETRIAL CARCINOMA IN A PATIENT WITH BLEPHAROPHIMOSIS SYNDROME ANDMENSTRUAL ABNORMALITY

PURPOSE: To describe a woman with blepharophimosis syndrome and menstr ual abnormality who developed endometrial carcinoma. METHODS: A 26-yea r-old woman with blepharophimosis syndrome and menstrual abnormality h ad increased serum luteinizing hormone and serum follicle-stimulating hormone levels. She was followed up for 5 years. RESULT: She developed endometrial carcinoma. CONCLUSIONS: Patients with blepharophimosis sy ndrome and menstrual abnormality should be examined gynecologically. H ormone-dependent endometrial carcinoma may develop.
