Abstract
Generalised Predictive Control (GPC)(1) is applied on the VVS-400 Heat ing/Ventilation System(4). The temperature control performance of GPC is compared with the on-board PID auto-tuner under load disturbance co ndition. GPC seems to be not affected if the plant model is over-param eterized. Furthermore, any offsets are eliminated by the consequence o f assuming CARIMA plant model.
