Abstract
Diphenylcyclopentadienyltin chloride has been found to react metatheti cally with silver salts of pseudohalides (AgX; X = CN, N-3, NCS and NC Se) to give new diphenylcyclopentadienyltin(IV) pseudohalides. Ph2CpSn Cl reacts with various neutral donor ligands (L) to give adducts of th e type [Ph2CpSnCl.L] (L = alpha/beta/gamma-picoline, aniline, 2,2'-bip yridyl (biy), DMSO, pyridine-N-oxide, alpha-picoline-N-oxide and beta- picoline-N-oxide.
