Abstract
Through the research on the geochemical facies of heavy metals in the coal mine spoils, it is found that the natural weathering process of c oal mine spoil is a course of enrichment of heavy metals. In this proc ess, the re lease of heavy metals is controlled by residual, bur the m igration and geochemical behavior of these metals are dominated by Fe- Mn oxides and organic matter. For the environmental geochemical effect of coal mine spoil, the pollution area caused by the heavy metals fro m the coal mine spoil is limited.
