Abstract
By using on-line mass separation of residues from heavy-ion induced fu sion-evaporation reactions, we studied the beta(+)/EC decay of the neu tron-deficient isotopes Sb-107 and Sb-108. A search for direct proton decay of Sb-105 did not yield a conclusive result. The experimental be ta-decay half-lives of Sb104-108 are discussed with reference to resul ts obtained from quasiparticle random-phase approximations, while the Sb-108-->Sn-108 and Sb-107-->Sn-107 level schemes are interpreted in c omparison with shell model predictions.
