Abstract
Leuctra ketamensis sp. n. is described from Northern Africa. This spec ies belongs to the Leuctra nigra group. The male is easily distinguish ed by a pair of characteristic sclerotized processes on abdominal terg ite VI, the absence of sclerotized processes on other tergites, the ab sence of the specillum and the presence of a complex paraproctal syste m; the female is distinguished by a subgenital plate split into two pa rts separated by a membranous area.
