DYNAMIC-RESPONSE OF SINGLE SPAN BRIDGES WITH EVEN AND UNEVEN DECKS

A single span bridge is considered in order to investigate the dynamic effect on the maximum deflection due to the effect of different param eters. The parameters considered are: type of supports (hinged-hinged or simply supported), the damping ratio, natural frequency, bridge spa n, stiffness of vehicles tires and suspension springs, weight of the m oving vehicle, the vehicle speed, and the unevenness of the bridge dec k and its profile.
