Abstract
The flavin mononucleotide (FMN)-binding protein from Desulfovibrio vul garis (Miyazaki F) is structurally related to a so far hypothetical si ngle-domain precursor of chymotrypsin, with the FMN-binding site coinc iding with part of the active site of the protease.
