Abstract
Control of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) in adolescents is a pr imary responsibility of health care providers. Using the tools of hist ory and physical examination, health care providers can easily define adolescents at risk for STDs. Screening practices and treatment guidel ines for common STD syndromes are discussed.
