Abstract
The performance of a new glucose electrode system from Radiometer was tested using two EML(TM)1O5 analyzers (Radiometer Medical AIS, Copenha gen, Denmark). Results were very precise (both analyzers reported CV=1 .0% at a glucose concentration of 13.4 mmol/l). Comparison of methods was performed according to the NCCLS EP9-T guideline. Patients glucose results from both analyzers were lower compared with the results obta ined with a Hitachi 911 (Boehringer Mannheim, Mannheim, Germany). Ther e was no haematocrit dependency of relevance.
