Abstract
The use of Holstein calf in thoracic surgery is very appreciate becaus e of its heart characteristics closed to that of a 70 kg human's heart . The different anesthetics techniques used in our laboratory are pres ented here (induction, maintenance, peroperative monitoring). The hemo dynamic stability of the animal is also presented.
