Abstract
Weert (see van Weert Ch. G., Phys. Rev. D, 9 (1974) 339) showed that t he bounded part (Teitelboim C., Phys. Rev. D, 1 (1970) 1572) T-B(ab) o f the Maxwell tensor associated to the Lienard-Wiechert (LW) field is generated by the potential K-B(abc), but he did not assigned it any ph ysical meaning at all. In this note we show that K-B(ijr) may be inter preted as a density of the intrinsic angular momentum of the LW electr omagnetic field.
