Abstract
The title compounds are diterpenoids isolated from the Himalayan yew ( Taxus wallichiana Zucc.). The crystal structures allow us to rationali ze some peculiar features of the NMR data of the taxane 4(20)-epoxides . Conformational differences between epoxide, olefin-type and oxetane- type compounds like paclitaxel are summarized.
