Abstract
The crystal of the title compound, C9H11NO2 . C9H12NO2+. ClO4-, is mad e up of a twofold symmetric hydrogen-bonded dimer carrying a net posit ive charge and a negatively charged perchlorate ion. The crystal struc ture involving alternating polar and non-polar zones is stabilized by hydrogen bonds and van der Waals interactions.
