NEW AND INTERESTING LICHENS FROM PORTUGAL

A description of five species of lichens (Cetraria merrillii, Leptogiu m ferax, Ochrolechia balcanica, Pertusaria slesvicensis and Sarcogyne clavus), reported for the first time from Portugal is given, as well a s commentaries on two species reported, until now, from only one local ity. All species were collected in southern Portugal, except the speci men of Leptogium ferax which was collected in the central region.
