Abstract
Micro-Raman spectra of erbium-doped Bi-2212 are reported, The assignme nt of the observed bands is made on the basis of the results of lattic e dynamical calculations and known vibrational spectra of pure Bi-2212 and Y-123 systems. The characteristics of the observed bands seem to depend mainly on the extra oxygen entering the samples due to Er dopin g. (C) 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
