Ja. Shao et al., GEOLOGICAL EFFECTS IN TECTONIC SUPERPOSITION OF PALEO-PACIFIC DOMAIN AND PALEO-ASIAN DOMAIN IN NORTHERN PART OF NORTH CHINA, SCIENCE IN CHINA SERIES D-EARTH SCIENCES, 40(6), 1997, pp. 634-640
The northern part oi North China is located where the Paleo-Asian doma
in is superposed Ly the Paleo-Pacific domain. The period from the end
of the Late Paleozoic to the beginning of the Mesozoic is important fo
r the superposition of the two domains. It is demonstrated according t
o the coupling of the superficial and deep geological effects that in
this period begins the lithosphere modulation, hot interface uprising,
and crust extension in this area. Thus a new understanding about the
Indo-China movement has arisen.
