Abstract
9-Anthryldiazomethane (2) was used to detect the presence of unreacted internal carboxylic acid moieties in amide-based dendrimers. This est erification procedure is a simple method to qualitatively analyze the dendritic homogeneous and heterogeneous structural integrity.
