Abstract
The symmetrized Slutsky matrix is used to provide an income measure of non-integrability. This matrix, used as a two-form by Arnold to measu re non-integrability of an exterior differential system, measures how far quasi-rational (systematic but not utility maximizing) demand is F rom being rational.
