Abstract
This paper reports ''CATV Video Distribution Service'' which started a s a trial service in July 1997 on the basis of the know-how obtained t hrough ''Utilization test of CATV video transmissions''. This system p rovides two or more communications services over a single fiber which reaches subscribers' homes and allows the implementation of fiber-to-t he-home (FTTH) before the most of the world.
