C. Furetta et al., IMPACT OF NONIDEAL HEAT-TRANSFER ON THE DETERMINATION OF THERMOLUMINESCENT KINETICS PARAMETERS, Journal of luminescence, 75(4), 1997, pp. 341-351
The aim of this paper is twofold, The first is to present the results
concerning the kinetic parameters of a recent preparation of MgB4O7 wh
ich has a single well-defined peak, To determine the parameters, i.e.,
activation energy, E, frequency factor, s, and order of kinetics, b,
by several different methods as the initial rise, the variable heating
rates, the isothermal decay, the peak shape and the glow curve deconv
olution methods. The second goal is to compare the results obtained us
ing chips and powder and to put into evidence the thermal gradient eff
ects on the kinetics parameters when using the variable heating rate.
