Abstract
Botryomycosis is an atypical reaction of the host to a common bacteria l infection. A case of botryomycosis mimicking a liposarcoma as suspec ted on clinical and radiological grounds is described, The diagnosis w as made by biopsy and culture of the lesion. A review of the literatur e is given.
