Abstract
As an immune-mediated demyelinating disease, could multiple sclerosis (MS) be treated by myeloablative therapy followed by bone marrow trans plantation? Richard Burt and colleagues discuss preliminary data on th is approach in the MS model of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis and in MS patients.
