Abstract
The anticorrosion capacity of aviation oils was tested after their ope ration and storage. The mechanism of its variation was proposed for B- 3V, IPM-10 and MS-8P operating oils, These oils provide the maximum pr otection of CT3 and 30XTCA steels after 200 to 400 hours of operation, The protective capacity of the B-3V oil was revealed to increase duri ng its storage for 4 years in an engine, and that of the MS-8rk power- preservation oil was up to 100 h of operation time. It was ascertained that the MS-8rk oil does not lose its protective capacity on being st ored in standard containers for up to 10 years.
