Abstract
We present simulation results on the behavior of simple nanocomposite hard-soft magnets. In particular, we have investigated the coercive fo rce of single and coupled triads of hard-soft-hard grains having diffe rent bulk exchange constants, intergrain exchange coefficients, satura tion magnetization, and local easy axis orientations. These systems ar e described by a micromagnetic model. taking into account anisotropy, Zeeman, exchange, and dipolar energies. Their dynamics were followed b y a Monte Carlo-Metropolis algorithm.
