Abstract
To provide a means to insure effective implementation of reliability a nd maintainability (R&M) programs, using Visual Basic on Windows, a so ftware program is developed that uses data on performance of the equip ment and generates statistics on the reliability and maintainability o f the machinery. The software is designed for the operators to enter t he data, to be used by the design engineers and reliability engineers, to study the system's performance. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
