Abstract
Using a local mean-field numerical approach to describe disordered ant iferromagnets, with application to FexZn1-xF2, it is shown that the ch aracteristics of the spin glass phase found for x=0.25 is much in agre ement with the scenario predicted by the scaling theory of the droplet model. In particular, the spin-reversal domains induced by a magnetic field give rise to a metastable irreversibility line. (C) 1997 Americ an Institute of Physics.
