Abstract
The genus Benoinyssus is diagnosed and additional morphological featur es are identified. Eupodes ereynetoides Strandtmann & Prasse and E. mo meni Abou-Awad are transferred to Benoinyssus, Five new species, B. se rratus, B. ornatus, B. falcatus, B. pusillus and B. celatus, are descr ibed and illustrated. An identification key to the eight species of Be noinyssus is provided.
