Dh. Yoo et al., BEHAVIOR OF BUBBLE FORMATION IN SUSPENDED SOLUTION FOR AN ELEVATED PRESSURE SYSTEM, Chemical Engineering Science, 52(21-22), 1997, pp. 3701-3707
The effects of various factors on the volumes of bubbles formed in sus
pended solutions under highly pressurized conditions, such as system p
ressure, orifice diameter, gas flow rate, gas chamber volume and solid
particle concentration, were experimentally studied. A non-spherical
bubble formation model considering the effects of solid particle conce
ntration and the highly pressurized system is proposed in order to est
imate bubble volumes. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
