THE EFFECT OF HIGHLY TOXIC COMPONENTS OF ROCKET FUEL ON GERMINATION OF SEEDS OF SEVERAL SPECIES OF VASCULAR PLANTS

We present the results of experiments on the effect of treatment with 1,5 diasobicyclo(3,1,0)hexane at different concentrations on viability of seeds of pine, European spruce, blueberry, and lettuce. This study did not demonstrate any unambiguous common pattern in the negative ef fect of the examined component of rocket fuel, particularly at low con centrations, on the germination rate and germination strength of seeds of these species.
