J. Sollenberg, ISOTACHOPHORETIC DETERMINATION OF ETHANOLAMINES IN METALWORKING FLUIDS AND IN AIR SAMPLES FROM WORKROOMS, Process control and quality, 10(3), 1997, pp. 313-317
An isotachophoretic method is described for analysis of ethanolamines
in metalworking fluids and in air samples collected in workrooms. The
method is low-cost and easily operated and a fluid sample can be analy
zed directly without any pretreatment. Analysis time was less than 8 m
in. Various types of metalworking fluids were analyzed and different c
ontents of ethanolamine, diethanolamine and triethanolamine were shown
. A concentration gradient of ethanolamine in the air outside a fume h
ood was demonstrated. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
