ANION SEPARATION BY HIGH-PERFORMANCE ION CHROMATOGRAPHY COUPLED WITH INDIRECT PHOTOMETRIC DETECTION AND 1,2-DIHYDROXYBENZENE-3,5-DISULFONATE OR SODIUM SULFOSALICYLATE AS THE ELUENT
J. Gao et al., ANION SEPARATION BY HIGH-PERFORMANCE ION CHROMATOGRAPHY COUPLED WITH INDIRECT PHOTOMETRIC DETECTION AND 1,2-DIHYDROXYBENZENE-3,5-DISULFONATE OR SODIUM SULFOSALICYLATE AS THE ELUENT, Journal of chromatography, 789(1-2), 1997, pp. 195-199
Some common inorganic and organic anions were separated by high-perfor
mance ion chromatography coupled with indirect photometric detection a
nd 1,2-dihydroxybenzene 3,5-disulfonate and sodium sulfosalicylate, re
spectively, as single column single-component eluents. In respect of d
etection sensitivity, eluent concentration, eluent acidity and chromat
ographic separation efficiency, 1,2-dihydroxybenzene-3,5-disulfonate o
r sodium sulfosalicylate were excellent ultraviolet absorbers, capable
of completely resolving many common inorganic and organic anions. (C)
