Abstract
Some common inorganic and organic anions were separated by high-perfor mance ion chromatography coupled with indirect photometric detection a nd 1,2-dihydroxybenzene 3,5-disulfonate and sodium sulfosalicylate, re spectively, as single column single-component eluents. In respect of d etection sensitivity, eluent concentration, eluent acidity and chromat ographic separation efficiency, 1,2-dihydroxybenzene-3,5-disulfonate o r sodium sulfosalicylate were excellent ultraviolet absorbers, capable of completely resolving many common inorganic and organic anions.
