The oscillations spectrum of currents and water temperature in the nea
r-bottom layer based on the data of longterm measurement on the Black
Sea shelf is and analyzed. The main oscillations are generated by the
Main Black Sea Current meanders, near-shore anticyclonic eddies, land
and sea breeze, inertial motions, seiches and internal waves. The para
meters of each form of oscillations are identified. The kinetic energy
for the different time scales oscillations was estimated. The specifi
c contributions of synoptic and mesoscale time variability were determ
ined. The intensive wave oscillations of water temperature in the near
-bottom layer were detected. It was identified, that these oscillation
s are caused by it the propagation of the near-shore anticyclonic eddi
es. A qualitative mechanism of these oscillations is studied.
