Abstract
Crystalline Co-ferrite (COFe2O4) thin films have been prepared by spra y pyrolysis technique at an optimized substrate temperature of 325 deg rees C. The thickness of the film is found to be of the other of 3 mu m. The XRD study reveals the strong (111) orientation of the crystalli tes in the film. The calculated cubic lattice constant is slightly gre ater than the bulk value, indicating that the films are under strain. The films show semiconducting behaviour with n-type conductivity.
