A problem of stabilization of a linear dynamic system under bonded con
tinuous control actions is considered. The notion of a continuous stab
ilizer is introduced and an algorithm for its operation is described.
Stabilization is brought about through a position solution (which is a
pproximate in the asymptotic sense) of the problem for damping the dyn
amic system on a finite time interval by the use of a quick-response c
ontrol of minimum intensity.
