SYNTHESIS AND ANTI-HIV SCREENING OF SOME HETEROCYCLIC-COMPOUNDS

Pyrimidobenzimidazole derivatives (I and II), pyrimidoanthraquinonimid azole (III), bis-2-amino-2-thiazoline coupled deuteroporphyrine (IX) d erivative (IV), acridone derivative (V) and acridine derivatives (VI-V III) have been synthesized and characterized by using H-1 NMR and HRMS spectral data. All these compounds were screened for anti-HIV-1 activ ity on MT-4 cells in vitro and were found to be inactive at a concentr ation below 100 mu M.
