Abstract
A series of O,O-diethyl-alpha-(p-toluenesulphonureado) phosphonates ha ve been synthesized by the Mannich-type reaction of p-toluenesulphonur ea, (substituted) benzaldehydes and dialkyl phosphites with acetyl chl oride as the solvent. The bioassay results showed that some of them po ssess good anti-TMV (Tobacco Mosaic Virus) activities and the quantita tive structure-anti-TMV activity relationship (QSAR) has also been stu died.
